Background
1971 – The founders and co-owners of the company work in high and low construction sector, as subcontractors in Slovenia and Croatia.
1986 – The Company is registered as a manufacturing-craftsmanship company under the name Lirija. Its main activity is wood processing.
1990 – The Company expands into a higher level of organization, and transforms itself into a shareholding company under private ownership. The name of the company also changes to Famis Commerce. In addition to wood processing, the company also expands its activities to include construction material industry.
1999 – The war in Kosovo causes significant losses to the Company.
2000 – The profile and main activity of the company becomes low and high constructions, with a particular focus in the former. This is also the year of considerable investments, predominantly in machinery for road construction, water-supply, sewage and business facilities.
2004 – After successful investments in 2000, and several timely-completed projects, the company makes further investments in the company’s capacity building. This development enables the company to acquire adequate and high-quality machinery.
2009 – We establish the new identity with our new logo. This identity properly reflects our vision and modern philosophy of work.
